Meet Tim and Amber Stroud, a dynamic father-daughter duo at the heart of Stay Tuned for Veterans.
Tim, a seasoned combat medic Veteran of the U.S. Army, brings a wealth of real-world experience and dedication to our mission. His service has not only protected lives but also instilled a deep sense of duty and care in his family.
Amber, currently a college student, draws from her father’s legacy and her own vibrant energy to bridge the gap between younger and older Veterans. Together, they embody the spirit of service and community that Stay Tuned champions.

THE BOARD

Jay Coppock
Jay Coppock, a native Texan, recently retired as COO of Associated Credit Union of Texas after over 36 years in financial services. He now leads SERVE - South East Resource Veterans Effort as Executive Director and serves on multiple boards, including the Rotary Club of Greater Houston Veterans and Stay Tuned For Vets. Jay is married to Lauri for nearly 36 years, with whom he has three children and seven grandchildren. Together, they run Charred and Starred, a company creating custom wooden flags honoring military and first responders. In his free time, Jay enjoys golf and spending time with family and friends.

Jeremy Davis
Jeremy Davis has an extensive background spanning wildland firefighting, security, commercial construction, and oil & gas production. His leadership roles have emphasized strategic planning, team building, and operational excellence, particularly in high-stress situations. Notable achievements include tripling production as Director of Business Operations at Advant Solutions and enhancing oil well operations at Occidental Petroleum. As a military leader, he successfully managed daily combat operations and strategic military deployments. Jeremy, a devoted husband and father of three, also holds a 2nd degree black belt in Krav Maga.

Bob Gebhard
Bob Gebhard, founder and CEO of Leadership for Today's and Tomorrow's Leaders, is a US Navy Vietnam Veteran and a retired banking executive with 50 years of experience. He served on the USS Harwood from 1965-1968 and later helped start Texas Citizens Bank. Bob is a certified coach with the John Maxwell Team and has been a dedicated Rotarian for over 30 years. He currently leads the Rotary Club of Greater Houston Veterans and actively supports veterans as a mentor and facilitator in Houston's Veterans Treatment Court. Bob and his wife Dianne, married for 43 years, have a daughter and four grandchildren.

Nikki Hart
Nikki Hart is an experienced Communications Director at Carter Machinery, specializing in public relations and media strategy. With a journalism background and a Communication degree from James Madison University, Nikki excels in developing and managing both internal and external communications. Her strategic approach enhances public perception and promotes organizational transparency.

Heather Huhnke
Heather Huhnke is a seasoned Senior Project Manager at Bechtel Corporation, with over 15 years of experience in construction and engineering. A University of Florida Civil Engineering graduate, Heather specializes in managing large-scale infrastructure projects, focusing on project planning and contract management. She is known for her ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget, exemplifying commitment and leadership in every endeavor.

Heather Stroud Long
Heather Stroud Long is the Consumer Directed Services (CDS) Manager at Winchester Community In-Home in Southeast Missouri. With nearly 15 years in long-term care, Heather has progressed from a nurse's aide to CDS Manager. Her commitment to service is inspired by her family's military background. Heather enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with her family in her spare time.
THE TEAM

Tim Stroud
Co-Founder & CEO
Tim Stroud is a former U.S. Army combat medic with deployments to Kosovo, Kuwait, and Iraq, where he honed his leadership skills. After military service, he engaged in veteran support initiatives in Texas, including founding the Killeen Police Department Law Enforcement Assistance Fund. Tim graduated with honors from Grand Canyon University and often speaks on veteran transitional services. He co-founded the Greater Houston Veterans Rotary Club and chairs Operation Turkey – Houston, delivering Thanksgiving meals to those in need. Tim, who lives in Houston, Texas, is also a devoted father to his two daughters, Amber and Jacqueline.

Amber Stroud
Co-Founder & Marketing Manager
Amber Stroud is the co-founder and marketing manager at Stay Tuned for Veterans, drawing on her background in digital arts and social media to enhance veteran support through creative arts. Previously, she honed her skills as an Americorps VISTA at Camp SHiEld, focusing on graphic design and social media outreach. Amber's early passion for art, sparked at age 12, now enriches her efforts to connect and support the veteran community—a cause close to her heart due to her father, Tim, a combat medic veteran. In her free time, she enjoys photography, traveling, and spending time with family and friends, always with a spirit of kindness and support for others.

Sarah Daughenbaugh
Program & Event Coordinator
Sarah Daughenbaugh is a dedicated professional with over 15 years in the nonprofit sector, focused on supporting veterans and their families. As the wife of a combat-wounded Marine and mother of three, she brings a personal commitment to her work, developing programs that offer counseling, education, and financial assistance. Her experience as a caregiver fuels her passion for creating strong support systems for military families. Sarah also excels in fundraising and grant writing, securing crucial funding to sustain and expand these vital services. Her goal is to ensure that veterans and their families feel empowered and valued.
